It was a pleasant 2020 Labor Day Weekend that saw the 80th edition of the Seneca Falls County Club’s Club Championship tournament crown champions in three divisions. In the Men’s division it was a re-match of a final from 1976 as 8-time club champion Steve Hyde successfully defended his title against 9-time club champion Mark Hylwa in a windy Monday final match that took 37 holes to decide a winner. The two most decorated club champions in SFCC history last met in a Labor Day final match in 1976. In the women’s division, Kathy Ferrara defeated Sarah Ferrara 2 & 1 while Larry Hilimire captured the Senior Division championship.
